Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources organised an innovation development programme entitled “Innovative Leader” that targeted the heads of departments and sections among the employees of the entities, authorities and departments of the Government of Sharjah.
The programme presented by the Innovation and Quality Trainer, Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, tackled several important subjects, mainly the innovative work and its challenges. Mr. Al Naqbi reviewed the government excellence system, national innovation strategy, UAE vision and centenary and the year of preparation for the next fifty years to come.
He also reviewed the general framework of the national strategy for advanced innovation, the management of a high-performance project addressing the strengths and weaknesses of innovative capacities and the use of innovation as a means of sustainability. He outlined the features of the future government, investing talents and energies to make innovative leaders, the stages, goals and tools of government innovation, and types of innovations and their journey in the Federal and local government sectors as well as Federal, local and private sectors.
For his part, H.E. Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, member of Sharjah Executive Council, Director of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, confirmed the importance of transforming innovation into an institutional work where everyone adopts development plans and strategies to form a unified business system that relies on innovation as a basis of the investment in employees, considered the starting point of creations, achievements and successes in any institution.
To this end, the Directorate attaches great importance to supporting innovation and highlights, through its training and qualification programmes, what is most recent in this regard to develop the governmental work in the Emirate, offering government services that are in line with the UAE vision and good leadership, facing the future challenges through innovative ideas.
